Ugandan comedian Tenge Tenge praises Rwanda
Ugandan comedian Tenge Tenge has expressed admiration for Rwanda’s safety and cleanliness, saying he would love to stay in the country for at least five years.
Speaking in an interview with RBA on July 31, 2026, he noted: “Rwanda is clean, beautiful, and safe. I loved it. I wish I could stay here for five years.”
Tenge Tenge, who rose to fame as a child star guided by his managers, arrived in Kigali on July 29, 2026, with his team to perform at the Tintin Summer Festival 2026. The festival is dedicated exclusively to children and will feature his comedy show at Tintin Kids Play Centre in Kimihurura, Gasabo District, on the evening of Saturday, August 1, 2026.
His remarks have resonated with audiences, highlighting Rwanda’s reputation for security, order, and hospitality. The festival is expected to draw large crowds of children and families, celebrating entertainment tailored for young audiences.
