Bwiza postpones Lusaka concert to prepare for global album tour

Rwandan star Bwiza Emerance has announced the postponement of her concert in Lusaka, Zambia, which was initially scheduled for July 11, 2026. The move comes as part of preparations for her upcoming world tour to promote her third album, Home.

Her manager, Uhujimfura Jean Claude, explained that international partners requested more time to prepare for collaboration during the tour. He emphasized that while the Lusaka date has been shifted, preparations for the global showcase remain on track, with new schedules to be announced soon.

Bwiza’s Home album tour is set to span multiple continents, including: Africa, Europe, Canada and United States

This marks her most ambitious project yet, positioning her as one of Rwanda’s fastest‑rising international artists.

Bwiza rose to fame after winning the The Next Diva – Indi Mbuto competition in 2021, which launched her professional career. She later released her EP Connect Me and popular singles such as Ahazaza, Warubizi, and Wibeshya. Her albums include My Dream and 25 Shades, the latter launched in Belgium in 2025.

She has also performed at major events like the Trace Awards, cementing her reputation as one of Rwanda’s most promising talents.
