Diamond Platnumz registers wealth under his mother amid Zuchu divorce

Tanzanian superstar Diamond Platnumz has revealed that all his assets are registered under his mother, Sanura Kassim ‘Mama Dangote’, a move that could leave singer Zuchu empty‑handed in their ongoing legal divorce.

During Mama Dangote’s 59th birthday celebration on July 11, 2026, Diamond publicly declared that his wealth—including cars, real estate, and businesses—belongs to his mother. He also gifted her luxury jewelry, including a Rolex watch worth over 85 million RWF, a gold bracelet, and a necklace purchased in Dubai.

Diamond explained: “My wealth is my mother’s wealth. Everything I own is hers.”

Zuchu, who did not attend the birthday event, announced the following day that her six‑year relationship with Diamond had ended and that she is seeking divorce. Fans speculated tensions between her and Mama Dangote, which Zuchu later confirmed by declaring the relationship over.

Diamond has often credited his mother for supporting him during his early struggles in Tandale, Dar es Salaam. His decision to register assets under her name underscores their lifelong bond and complicates Zuchu’s legal claims in the divorce.
