Popular Ugandan model Kisitu Kirabo has issued a public apology after her private videos were leaked and widely circulated on social media without her consent.
In her statement, Kirabo explained that the footage was recorded in a private setting and was never intended for public release. She described the leak as deeply painful, causing her shame, distress, and emotional trauma, while also affecting her family, friends, and followers.
Kirabo said she takes responsibility for the consequences but is working with relevant authorities to identify those behind the leak and ensure accountability. She urged the public to stop sharing or distributing the videos, stressing the importance of respecting her privacy rights and human dignity.
As one of Uganda’s most recognized models, frequently featured in entertainment and fashion circles, Kirabo’s case highlights the growing challenges of digital consent and the risks of personal content being misused online.
