On Wednesday, May 27, 2026, Rwanda’s Inspector General of Police, CG Felix Namuhoranye, hosted Major General Mohammed Jassim Al‑Sulaiti, Director General of Public Security in Qatar, at the Police Headquarters in Kacyiru. He was accompanied by Ambassador Mansour bin Ali Fahad Al‑Shahwani Al‑Hajri, Qatar’s envoy to Rwanda.
Strengthening existing police cooperation between Rwanda and Qatar. Discussions focused on enhancing collaboration in public security and law enforcement.
The Qatari delegation will also attend Rwanda Police’s 25th anniversary celebrations, marking a quarter‑century of service since its establishment in 2000.
This visit underscores Rwanda’s growing international partnerships in security and policing, reinforcing its role as a hub for regional and global cooperation.
